PNG is always lossless and full resolution.
See it on your product
Put this artwork on a 3D mug, tumbler, sign, phone case or canvas, turn it all the way round, or drop it onto a photograph of your own blank. The preview page has the product picker, the colours and the placement controls.

Read in the browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Check units and extents
The checker reports what the file declares before you rely on it.
Export
Units are written into the output so the next program does not have to guess.
DXF to PNG online, free
DXF to PNG: open the drawing, pick the width and download a PNG with clean, anti-aliased lines on white or transparent. It is DXF to PNG free and DXF to PNG online free: nothing to install, and the drawing stays on your machine.
Need another format? DXF to JPG for email and documents, DXF to PDF to print to scale, and for PDFs you already have, PDF to PNG.
DXF to PNG in Python
Searching for DXF to PNG Python? In code the usual route is ezdxf with its matplotlib drawing add-on: <code>ezdxf.addons.drawing</code> renders the modelspace to a figure you save as PNG. For a one-off drawing it is quicker to drop it here; the result is the same kind of rendering, with line weights and colours kept.
Why it matters
Units survive the trip
The most common way a CAD interchange goes wrong is a file arriving with no declared units. Our DXF output always states them.
Extents reported, not assumed
The real drawing bounds are read from the geometry rather than trusted from a header that may be stale.
Entity types flagged
SPLINE, ELLIPSE, HATCH and TEXT are the entities that most often fail on import. They are reported before you find out at the machine.
Nothing uploaded
Client drawings stay on your machine, which matters when the work is under NDA.
Questions
Can you read DWG?
Yes, in your browser: AutoCAD R13 to 2018 files, with the exception of the 2007 format, which is refused with a message rather than misread. Lines, arcs, circles, polylines, splines, ellipses, blocks and layers are read; text and hatch fills are counted and reported but not drawn. DWG can be written too, as AutoCAD 2000, which every current CAD program opens.
What DXF version do you write?
R2000 by default, which current CAD and CAM packages read. R12 is available for older controllers.
Will my layers survive?
Layer names and colours are kept, and layers that were off or frozen stay that way. Blocks are exploded into their shapes; attributes and paper-space layouts are not carried across.
