Privacy

Veconvert privacy policy: your files are converted in your browser and never uploaded; what little we do collect, and why, in plain words.

This page has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. It describes what the software actually does, which is the right starting point, but it needs review in the operating jurisdiction before launch.

Files

Your files are never uploaded. Conversion happens in your browser, so we do not receive, process or store the things you convert. This is a property of how the software is built, not a promise about how we behave.

Accounts

If you create an account we store your email address, your plan, and a record of credits added and spent. That record exists so that a billing question has an answer.

Analytics

We record which pages are visited and which tools are used, in aggregate. We do not tie that to the contents of your files, because we do not have them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, or for it to be deleted, by emailing privacy@veconvert.com. Deleting an account removes its data; the record that an administrator performed the deletion is kept, because an audit trail with gaps in it is not an audit trail.

Not legal advice
